A Family Affair

Forest Oak Farm is a family venture run by the Dodson's. Having been involved in the dog training and sports world for many many years we know just how hard it is to find truly dog friendly, high quality venues and accommodation - be it for a holiday, training, competing or for holding events.

Forest Oak Farm stretches over 20 acres of what was, for many years, disused and badly neglected farmland. The moment we set foot over the threshold we knew it had something very special to offer – something we had to nurture and share.

Since acquiring the farm in 2010 we have been through an intense and exciting, roller coaster journey to breath new life into this long neglected farm with its' originally hidden natural beauties. It is still a work in progress but I hope you agree we have made it somewhere very special to stay already.

The end result? A family run, welcoming haven for local and visiting dog lovers and their canine companions to enjoy this stunning region, make use of our unique facilities and get involved in the activities we hold and host.

We have both caravan park, camping and holiday cottage facilities for you to enjoy. Set in quiet rural surroundings but close enough to travel to major towns and cities; leaving you to enjoy a peaceful country setting.
